Han Kim
Director
Han Kim is a General Partner and co-founder of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of software and business services. He also concentrates on companies with significant business in Asia, leveraging the firm's substantial contacts in the region, particularly in Korea. Han currently works closely with DemandTec, Evant (formerly a director), Instill Corporation and Vesta Corporation. He also led the firm's prior investments in ProduceOnLine (acquired by World Commerce), Digital Market (acquired by Agile Software), iOwn (acquired by Citibank) and CallConnect (acquired by Workscape). Before founding Altos Ventures in 1996, Han worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton solving strategic and operational issues for global media, retail and distribution companies. Previously, he was at Procter & Gamble. Han also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Han served two years in Korea, commanding both U.S. and Korean soldiers. Han received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Gregory T. Robinson
Director
Greg Robinson is currently Managing Director at Peninsula Equity Partners. His experience in enterprise software and services gives him a unique perspective on investment opportunities in the information technology arena. Greg has led several of Peninsula's investments in information technology companies and has served on the Board of Directors of Intesource and StepUp Commerce. Prior to Peninsula, Greg co-founded Cogent Technologies, an enterprise software solutions company which was acquired by BrightStar. At BrightStar, he was a Managing Director responsible for the Group's mid-market practice. Greg holds a BS in Economics and Chinese from Arizona State University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
